Love, David Beckham and the Pope
Macca went on his Valentine’s date this week – with a certain Ms Anna-Lucy. All we know is that they had a fun time at Wahaca on London South Bank followed by a bottle of wine at notorious date bar Gordon’s. A certain someone was very happy on Friday morning, but that’s all we can read from the whole experience. As soon as I know any gossip I’ll let you know.
In other news, apparently David Beckham’s move to Parisian side Paris St Germain has caused an increase in visitors to France’s capital city (http://bit.ly/Xv5p1a), while one man’s quest for the perfect cornflake has taken him to 60 countries and cost him more than £36,000 (http://bit.ly/VQ0Vif).
News of the pope’s retirement reached the gapyear.com office so we planned out a gap year (http://bit.ly/Y4Odf8) especially for him. From Antarctica to Benidorm with Sorrento, Ireland and Germany in between he’s sure to have a great freedom year.
And finally in this week’s gapyear.com reported news we enjoy learning of the existence of Minge Lane in Worcestershire, Wilsford Cum Lake in Salisbury and Fanny Barks in Darlington (http://bit.ly/11Q7itP) in the world’s rudest place names map.
Next week on gapyear.com you can win a trip for two to Fiji in our exciting new competition – just upload a photo that makes you happy to be in with a chance of winning.
We’re also on the lookout for a top quality content and social media intern to come and join the gapyear.com team. If you love travel, writing and social media and have 3-6 months to get some on the job training you should apply: (http://bit.ly/ZfmSO2).
