Takamatsu and Tokushima
Well its just about time to move on from the island of Shikoku now. Ive spent the last few days in the cities of Takamatsu and Tokushima.
Takamatsu is a pretty busy transport hub of a city, not very attractive and a lot more foreigners than most places on Shikoku. It does contain one of the best gardens in Japan though. The lakes look really beautiful against the backdrop of green, forest covered mountains, its a really great way to spend a day in Japan. Takamatsu also has the longest shopping arcade in Japan, sounds exciting but really its pants, with far too many annoying pachinko parlours. Well at least its stopped raining even if it is unbearably humid.
Today were in Tokushima, its actually supprisingly small city and probably the most attractive Ive seen in Japan so far. It also seems to have a supprisingly larger number of strip bars than most other Japanese cities, I guess that says something about the local men.
Anyway time to move onto Osaka soon, big city lights and late nights here I come.
