Cuba es Cuba

Hey ho 🙂
Bought yet another Cuba guidebook (takes my total to 4, people, but hey 😳 😆 )

and also some Cuba books

And booked all my accommodation. Apart from 2 nights when I’m gonna freewheel it, people, and stay in a casa 8)

You have to book at least 3 nights’ accommodation.

I phoned the Cuban embassy to find this information – that was a mission 😮 – if life is like that in Cuba, I pity the people! 🙄
I rang, having checked the website which told me to phone with enquiries between 9.30 – 12.30. I did. The recorded message said to call back between 2.30 – 4.30.
So, hand on phone, at 2.31 exactly, I dialled.
Ring, ring, ring… 🙄
I KNEW they were there. They knew the office hours were 2.30 – 4.30. I could tell they were not answering because sometimes the phone would just ring, sometimes I would get the answerphone, sometimes it was busy.
👿 👿 👿 👿 👿
So I sat there at work with my finger on redial
😈 😈 😈 😈 😈
At 2.47, a bored voice finally answered “CubanembasstcanIelpyew”.
TWENTY MINUTES they had been LISTENING TO THE PHONE RING and NOT ANSWERED IT.
She knew I knew. I could tell.
But no-one beats me at bloody-mindedness games 😈
Ho hum.
