If you are like most people, you are used to looking online to find your best rates and flight deals. The good news is that there are a number of great websites that are easy to use and navigate and ready to connect you to convenient flights in your price range.
Unfortunately there are so many websites out there that consumers can often feel overwhelmed. With so many options how can you tell which flight fare finder is the best?
How do you know you are getting the best discount possible?
We've taken a look online and found our top five websites for discount flights. We evaluated these sites for competitive rates, ease of use and value of information regarding destinations and carriers.
1. Flight Network
We love the Price Drop Protection (PDP) service offered by Flight Network. If you are purchasing a PDP flight and the price of your ticket drops, you can be refunded the difference between the two ticket prices. This is a great way to make sure that you are paying a competitive price even when you book early.
A popular website for booking flights and vacation packages, this brand receives a lot of
traffic to it's website. Orbitz provides some decent search ability but the selections are not aimed for economy conscious consumers from our observation with fewer cheap flight offers but great vacation packages.
Arguably the world’s largest and most well-known travel and ticket website, Travelocity is easy to use and navigate.
Expedia offers a quick and easy to use interface with ticket and destination information for world travellers. Watch their site for more changes and a new update to the tools available for booking travel online with them (coming soon).
A smaller less known website but one that has a good search engine for major flights and for over 36,000 locations worldwide. Kayak searches 150 travel sites for each query giving the consumer some great options.
