So I'm now getting around to planning my next big trip!
This is my first time blogging my experiences for any of my trips. It's definitely the best way to keep track of what I'm doing and it'll be great to read through in the future when I'm missing this current part of my life.
It's all still so exciting, although I've been on trips like this before. However, that feeling of pciking a destination (or DESTINATIONS), sorting out the route, the stop offs, what I'll be doing and sometimes most importantly who I'll be dragging along with me for the ride is still as strong as it was on my first trip away.
That was before uni, I had made that decision to have a gap year after college and grab a bag with the essentials and see a part of the world that I hadn't experienced. I did the usual thing and visited South East Asia and stopped off in New Zealand and some of the surrounding islands.
It was fantastic and I'll always look back at those memories!
This time round I'm richer with my experiences of the previous travels and hope to learn from those silly mistakes and cock ups that I'm sure everyone has gone through.
I want to have a bit longer in each destination (I've got ideas but no definites just yet) and maybe pick up a few shifts at a local bar or restaurant to earn a bit of extra cash. I'll have to look into what issues there way be with working visa and taxes etc. Yep, the boring stuff! It has to be done though. I don't want to get caught up with some hefty fines or anything worse whilst on my travels.
Right then, I guess I'll be keeping this blog updated with each new corner and development of the plans. Hopefully pick up some followers on the way too!
I'll through in some photos of destinations I've got in mind to make this more easy on the eye.
