A Little Something on Vang Vieng (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)

Haven’t written on here for a while thanks to the internet connection everywhere. Need to catch up on my life for all my fans out there!

The Bus to Vang Vieng was 5 hours which is pretty short compared to other ones, amazing mountainous views on the way I just stared out the window fascinated all the way! W

When we arrived it was soooo hot. It’s like a town in the middle of the desert. I reckon it was 35 to 40 degrees C! We found somewhere half decent to stay then went for food. This guy brings out a menu with loads of food on it (best pizzas in the world) and then he whips out “The Happy Menu”. Yikes!

They even had a SNES to play with on Mario World while you lay back on the bed style seating area and eat the most amazing pizza, and they blast out some wicked tunage!

On day 2 we try out Tubing which is proper funny. They’ve shut down a lot of the area though – apparently it used to be epic. Basically you rent a tractor tyre inner tube get on the river and just float down it!! There were a few bars with cheap beer (1 quid) blasting tunes. They all have rope swings and Zip wires each as well which are proper dangerously good! Stupidly decided to take my camera in and now the memory card is ruined. Gutted.

On day 3 we rented bikes and went to the lagoon. It was crystal clear blue water and we went to 2 caves. The first one our 7 year old guides took us 2 was proper small. the 2nd was masssive it took a good hour to walk all the way in all pitch black.

Right, got to go. Not eaten all day so going to go for some Wood Oven Pizza in the Happy Bar. It’s 1.50 for the Pizza and they do “The Best Apple Pie” which it is!
