Indian

Today we decided to stay home and search for a car, we were looking for a 4 wheel drive Holden Jackaroo but everything we phoned for had at least 350,000 kilometres on the clock so we had to rule them out. Everything within our price range was not good enough, we needed a car that is going to take us on a 22,000 kilometre trip. After a day of hard searching we still couldn’t find anything worth taking a look at.
Kath had told us that her friends were having a leaving do tonight at an Indian restaurant nearby and that we were invited too. Kath and Emma got all dolled up whilst Joe sat watching (probably bored of all the ‘what should I wear’ talk:’J). We got a cab there and stopped off at the bottle-o on the way (Kath thought it was funny that we’d call it a off-license) to grab some wine to take to the restaurant. We were both shocked to find that there wire drive though alcohol shops everywhere! At the Indian we met Kaths friends Travis and Lauren and lots more. Travis and Lauren are moving to Albany for work soon. When we got into the Indian we found that there wasn’t enough seats at the main table (Kath said that this was because 3 people didn’t respond to Trav’s invite and pretty much just turned up) which meant that we had to sit at a separate table. Lauren came and joined us though which was sweet of her.
After the food, which took forever to come but was lovely, we headed round the corner to a local bar. They had a big outdoors area and a band playing. We sat here for a bit drinking vodka’s (yes…plural!) and chatting. We ended up leaving at around 1 and grabbing a cab back to Kath’s.
