An unexpected great year out!

Just wanted to tell you guys about my travels because at this stage last year I had jus failed to make the marks I required to get into where I wanted. I was devistated at first but as it happens I am so gratful to have been able to spend almost 6 months tarveling. I am now set to go to Univestity this Septmember but with some awesome memories and experiances!

As I am quite a sporty person I though I would quite like to do something active but also meaningful. So I started looking on the internet and found a few companies offering placements to coach sport abroad. I think one was called changing worlds, but I went down to South Africa with a comapny called Sporting Opportunities, check them out at ( I spent three months coaching hockey to children, which was awesome, met some really cool people and the whole experiance was very rewarding. I was also able to play for a team which was pretty cool. When I had finished my voluneering me and two other girls I met coaching decided to travel down the the garden route, for those of you that dont know, its a spectacular reach of coastline stretching from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town. We spend 3 months making are way slowly down the Garden Rout, camping under the stars most night, surfing and relxing nr the beach most day. It was absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. Also you dont need to be that sporty to do the coaching its very relaxed.

Hope thats a little inspiration to those that did’nt quite get the grades this year and in the future because you never know what life is going to serve you!

Have fun 🙂
