I am in Africa, repeat after me, I am in Africa….
I have been here for four days, but still find it hard to believe that I am in in Africa. Helpfully, there have been a few clues even I have noticed that we have pineapples, bananas and mangoes sold from the side of the road instread of motorway service stations and that we had to stop for a baboon crossing the road instead of pesky squirrels!
Oh yeah and the sun is shining and the weather is warm, not to make you jealous… wink
On Thursday the Tanzanian volunteers arrive and we get to test out out swahili and the training really begins.
