Call for creative travellers
A gap year is the ideal opportunity to put some time into your more creative side, be it writing, photography or art. Most backpackers take photographs on their travels and many write a blog. A smaller number draw or paint some of the wonders they encounter.

Long-standing gapyear.com partners, VisitOz are looking for a new logo, and they've teamed up with Tourism Queensland and the Youth Hostel Association to create a prize worth up to AU$5,000.

The prize includes:
- VisitOz programme
- A National Australia Bank (NAB) back account with AU$250 as a welcome gift
- YHA membership and three nights in their hostels
- A Whitsunday's three day sailing trip

- A Tourism Queensland travel pass from Melbourne to Brisbane and Hervey Bay
