Mass bungee jump off bridge

135 thrill-seekers perform mass bungee jump in Russia

Doing an epic bungee jump in South Africa or New Zealand is a gap year rite of passage, but few gappers have probably attempted to do it with dozens of others at the same time.

Yet here is proof that doing a mass bungee jump is not only possible, but looks a lot of fun and makes a very, very cool video.

This daredevil YouTube film showing 135 souls performing a leap of faith has started to pick up some media attention. But strangely in this age of instant online information, no-one seems to know exactly where the jump took place or who was involved.

It's also uncertain what motivated the mass bungee jump, although the smart money would be on setting some kind of world record.

The highest commercial bridge bungee in the world is currently Bloukrans Bridge Bungee in Africa, which stands at 216 metres high and has been operated by Face Adrenalin since 1997.

We're expecting the Russian video to go viral over the next few days, as it's an incredible sight that most people have probably never seen before.

For those worried about the safety implications of flinging yourself off a bridge with more than 100 others you can rest easy; it is believed that no-one was hurt in the creation of this cool spectacle.
