Your adventure starts with an action-packed week introducing you to the customs and culture of South Africa. Next you volunteer with the Big 5 on a Wildlife conservation project before heading along South Africa’s infamous Garden Route to Cape Town! End your journey volunteering at our unique community volunteering project helping disadvantaged children.
Learn about South Africa Customs & Culture – Your adventure begins at our base in Port Elizabeth where your Leader will teach you all about South African customs & culture and prepare you for the adventure that lies ahead. Activities this week include overnight wilderness trip, Red Location tour, township visit and beach trip.
Volunteer on our Wildlife Conservation Project –help rehabilitate endangered and orphaned animals such as the rare Bengal tigers, white lions and more. Interact with elephants, go on safari walks, and learn about wildlife and how you can make a difference! Participate in our Game Ranger course so that you can gain the necessary skills of field guiding and develop a greater appreciation of the nature environment.
Journey to Cape Town & the Garden Route – Explore Port Elizabeth, from the oceanarium and the beach, to the happening night life! Surf or learn how in Jeffery's Bay, bungee jump in Tsitsikamma, go on a boat ride in Knysna and more all before arriving in Cape Town where you will explore and get to know the area!
Make a difference on our Community Project - End your South African journey volunteering at our day care centre near Oudsthoorn. Here you will draw on all your resources to create a positive and lasting impact on the children who attend the centre – a truly memorable and life changing way to end your trip.
