from £5,659
Duration: from 75 days
Countries: Australia, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, Thailand
Hip-hop puns aside, we’re pretty proud of this complete gap year. It takes you to Machu Picchu, New Zealand, Australia’s East Coast and then on to South East Asia.

Gapper's Delight

Leave London and fly to sunny Peru to trek one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu - fly to New Zealand and get on the party bus highlighting the best of the North and South Islands on the way - explore the Australian East Coast in your own time - discover the colours of Asia with a bunch of other gappers whilst travelling through South East Asia - arrive back in London.

Day 1 - 8 Peru

Arrive into Lima before making your way to Cusco, gateway to the Inca Trail. Haggle for unique souveneirs at the markets in Sacred Valley before strapping on your walking shoes and trekking through the world famous Inca Trek. Standing at the end of the 4 day trek, proud of your achievement, take in the jaw dropping sight of Machu Picchu at sunrise. Head back to Lima for the next part of your trips

Days 9 - 30 New Zealand
Uncover the Land of the Long White Cloud with a hop-on, hop-off bus pass, giving you the freedom to roam wherever you want. Head to the Bay of Islands and find your own deserted beach lapped by azure water, marvel at Hot Water Beach on the Coromadel Peninsula and make your very own hot pool in the sand. Perhaps take in a Haka or eat a Hangi in Rotorua and watch the mud pools bubble nearby. Indulge in jet boating on Lake Taupo before chilling in the capital, Wellington.
The South Island awaits with rolling vineyards located in the Marlborough region or kayak down the Avon river near Christchurch before checking out the Antartic Centre. Photograph rare penguins on the Otago Peninsula or hit the slopes at the adventure capital of Queenstown. Bungy jump, sky dive, quad bike or cruise on the beautiful Milford Sound located nearby. So much to see, you are only limited by your time!

Days 31 - 60 Australia
Head to the sunburnt country of Australia where turquiose oceans, sandy shores and a divine outdoor lifestyle await. Wander the streets of Sydney from the iconic Opera House to the Harbour Bridge, spot koalas in the Blue Mountains and sample some of Australia's finest wines in Hunter Valley. Head north to Cairns, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, one of the Natural Wonders of the World. Dive, snorkel and sunbathe to your hearts content before returning back to Sydney.

Days 61 - 75 Singapore to Bangkok
Travel overland from Singapore to Malaysia where you have the option of exploring the Cameron Highlands or shop to your hearts delight in Kuala Lumpur. Continue onto the sandy shores of Penang before making your way up the coast to Bangkok. Depending upon the time of year you will either be lazing on the beaches of Koh Samui or hanging out in Krabi and Langkawi. Hit the colourful streets of Bangkok with its myriad of street markets, food vendors and temples.
