Adventures in London, Paris & Italy
This course travels from London to France to Italy over 90 days offering a unique opportunity to explore the history and culture of these three European countries. You can join us for the full adventure or choose to take part in one or more legs of the journey. The course will take place as follows:
London. 2 weeks: The Fabric of Britain, politics and the State through the art and monuments of London.
Paris and the South of France. 2 weeks starting. After an introduction to the history of Paris and its amazing collections, this course focuses on the birth of Modernism from Impressionism to Picasso. After a week in Paris the group travels to the beautiful town of St Paul de Vence in the South of France where the region boasts works by artists including Matisse, Picasso, Chagall, Cocteau, Leger, Miro, Giacometti and Renoir.
Tuscany. 2 Weeks. Italian language course combined with some fine art, Italian cookery and Italian film sessions. Here students live with an Italian family in the beautiful hill town of Montepulciano.
The Six Week Autumn Gap Year Course
Semester Students will join students attending the six week Autumn Gap Year Course. The whole group then travels the length of Italy - Venice, Verona, Siena, Florence, Naples and Rome - studying in depth the wonders and variety of Italian Art.
