Marine Conservation and Diving
Projects are suitable for both beginners and advanced divers.
What can you do in Belize?
We have two options for projects in Belize. We have a 4 week internship in Sapodilla Cayes Marine National Park. The course takes you through diving skills, methodologies and data techniques, wrapped up in week 4 with a party and award ceremony. Alternatively a volunteer project focusing on Lion fish can see you gaining your PADI certificate, and taking part in activities from research to underwater photography.
What can you do in Thailand?
A community leading, well renowned project in Koh Tao needs help with identifying species, monitoring the reefs, underwater clean-ups, and reef restoration. Diving tuition and SSI certification are included, and trips (at extra cost) to Koh Samui and Koh Phangan are popular amongst volunteers in their spare time.
What can do you in Mozambique?
Our project in Mozambique involves whale shark and manta ray conservation. From 3 weeks to 3 months, volunteers can get involved with research and monitoring of this endangered species. You will stay in a beach front volunteer house, with local bars and entertainment nearby.
