Summary

Teaching, Safari & Zanzibar

Fantastic opportunities to teach in schools based in Arusha (the safari capital of Tanzania). Help both inside and outside the classroom, forging lifelong friendships in local communities.  Perfectly placed to add a further few weeks of community projects on the spectacular Indian Ocean Coast, spitting distance from Zanzibar Island where a four day trip in included.

Inside The Classroom
Teach English, Math’s and Science.

Outside The Classroom
Many find this the most rewarding part of the program.  Play sport, teach art, music and dance.  TEFL not required.

Head to the Coast
You are perfectly placed to venture west to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s bustling coastal port where the beaches are stunning providing awesome diving and snorkeling (just so you know!).

Here you can roll up your sleeves to help with basic projects such as planting trees and watering plants to reduce dust and eye infections at the Montessori School, who rely on private funds and local manpower to keep it going.

Zanzibar Island
Not to be missed, a on Zanzibar Island, where you can kick back on the beaches, strap on a snorkel to track down a turtle before nipping off to Stone Town.
