Law Internship & Volunteering

A great opportunity to combine work experience in law, with travelling and volunteering, giving your CV a compeitive edge.

Law Internship Phase

A career-focused internship with Access Attorneys - a small firm based in Arusha covering a wide range of law including criminal, corporate, civil and family for a large number of clients ranging from corporations, NGO’s, government departments and individuals.

They'll happily take in two interns at any one time for two days a week and will encourage you to participate in a variety of tasks involving attending court, writing reports, research, monitoring and reporting on proceedings, visiting clients and general office admin.

Why only 2 days?
Quality not quantity -  at the moment, they can only dedicate 2 days a week to an intern.

Other days?
The remaining time will be spent on our volunteering projects based in and around Arusha, Kilimanjaro and Moshi with the option to add a phase of volunteering in Dar es Salaam on the Indian Ocean coast.

Thos program offers fantastic variety in projects and locations.

Volunteering Phase

Community in Arusha
Care for children in orphanages we support.
Coach sports, teach English and Art to children.
Help construct and improve classrooms at various schools.

Conservation in Moshi
Help a primary school near Moshi with a reforestation initiative by planting trees on the slopes of Kilimanjaro.

One day safari included to the Lake Manyara National Park to see all the big game.

Add on a phase at the Coast in Dar es Salaam
Venture west to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s bustling coastal port where the beaches are stunning providing awesome diving and snorkeling, (just so you know).  Here you'll help the Montessori School, who rely on private funds and local manpower, to keep it going. Roll up your sleeves to help with renovations, planting trees and watering plants to reduce dust and eye infections.

Zanzibar Island
Not to be missed, a 4-day break on Zanzibar Island, where you can kick back on the beaches, strap on a snorkel to track down a turtle before nipping off to Stone Town.
