Things you need to bring with you on this trip - sunscreen, sunglasses, some kind of swimmers and a chilled vibe. That's pretty much it! We're going to spend quite a bit of time sailing, quite a bit of time chilling in Cairns and maybe just a bit of time on the Great Barrier Reef.
Day 1 - The Whitsundays
We start from Airlie Beach. This places is the launch point for trips to the Whitsunday Islands, where we'll be spending the next three days. There's really only one way to do it - on your own private yacht, so it's bloody lucky that's just what we've got! It'll be our home away from home and you can get things off on a relaxed note while the crew get everything sorted for you.
Day 2 - Long Island
As that first day was just so strenuous, what better place to wake up to the gentle rocking of the boat, than one of the quiet corners of the Whitsundays? After breakfast, we'll head for the highlights of the Whitsundays so you can chill on the beach, snorkel among some reefs and just top up your tan. We'll also be stopping off at Whitehaven Beach (only the best beach in the world) and Blue Pearl Bay, if the weather is on our side.
Day 3 - Long Island
You've got some free time today to jus explore the island's beaches, waters and trails, but not before you've had an indulgent buffet breakfast. We're spoiling you, we know! Take it all in at your own pace and just enjoy what the place has to offer.
Day 4 - Cairns
After all that sailing, you'll want to get your land legs back. So, we're headed to Cairns, where we'll set you up in a hostel and go for a meal all together. From there, it's up to you to decide whether you want to go to the Night Markets, or just take advantage of the nightlife and visit a club or two…
Day 5 - Cairns
Now that you're all settled back in Cairns it's time to take advantage of all the stuff on offer. There's plenty to do - white water rafting on the Tully River, a full day tour of the World Heritage listed Daintree, or you could even get up close with some of the wildlife. Maybe cuddle a koala, or zip line over salt water crocodiles? Just don't get them mixed up! You could also go horse riding, quad biking, bungy jumping, tandem skydiving or hot air ballooning. It's going to be hard to choose from so many options!
Day 6 - Cairns
And that, my friends, as they say, is all she wrote. Today is our last day, so we'll say our goodbyes and wish you happy travels!
