Quito to Lima

Discover the best of Ecuador and Peru as you explore the Andes, Amazon and Pacific coast on this 15-day adventure from Lima to Quito. Explore pre-Inca ruins, walk the colonial streets, and get an introduction to the Amazon and its people with time in a jungle community. Tear it up on mountain bikes, raft wild rivers, catch big waves and get your adrenaline pumping on exciting optional excursions. You’ll have plenty of free time to explore these remarkable countries on your own and create the ultimate adventure.

Day 1 Quito

Arrive at any time.

Day 2-4 Amazon Jungle Homestay (3B,3L,3D)

Travel to the jungle city of Tena, and continue by truck and motorized canoe to a jungle community. Spot wildlife on nature walks and learn about local traditions at an overnight homestay.

Day 5-6 Baños

Opt to soak in the nearby hot springs or get active by hiking, horseback riding or mountain biking.

Day 7-8 Cuenca (1B)

Explore historic Cuenca, and opt to visit Cajas NP or the Inca ruins of Ingapirca.

Day 9-12 Mancora/Huanchaco (1B)

Head to the beach and enjoy optional activities like surfing or horseback riding. Continue by overnight bus to Huanchaco. Enjoy more beach time or opt to visit pre-Inca sites or the city of Trujillo.

Day 13-14 Huanchaco/Lima (1B)

Full day in Huanchaco before boarding an night bus to Lima. Explore Peru's capital on an optional city tour, try paragliding or simply relax. Be sure to try the tasty ceviche and pisco sours.

Day 15 Lima (1B)

Depart at any time.
