Costa Rica's Indigenous Communities
The colour and diversity of Costa Rica and Nicaragua are unlike anything you'll have experienced before. This is your opportunity not just to travel to these countries, but to see what life is really like for their populations.
How does it work?
We'll guide you through ten incredible weeks of adventure and impactful projects. You could help to build a kindergarten in the Costa Rican cloudforest. You could support experts working to conserve some of the world's most beautiful national parks. You might live alongside indigenous communities, getting first-hand insight into their unique way of life. You and your team will push yourselves to your limits as you trek through volcanic peaks to the ocean.
On a Raleigh expedition, you'll have access to parts of the world that tourists don't get to see. You'll return with a new level of insight into the world, and with greater resilience, courage and leadership ability. We're one hundred percent committed to making sure that our work makes an impact where it's needed most, so you can also be certain that you're doing something worthwhile.
Once you've joined us, you'll be part of the Raleigh family. And like all families, we take care of each other. We have permanent trained staff based in all the countries where we work. You'll push yourself to your limits, but you'll do so as part of a supportive, caring team.
When can I go?
We run programmes throughout the year, starting in February, June and October.
