Summary

The American Odyssey

Fly into Buenos Aires, home of the salsa and maybe put on your dancing shoes, before picking up this epic 35 day tour where you'll hike the Inca Trail, cross the Salt Flats of Bolivia by 4x4, and feel like a sophisticate sipping wine in Argentina. Along the way, you'll engage with local cultures with a small group of other young travellers to back you up. For those willing to invest their time, this trip offers big returns—in adventure.

From there, hop on a flight up to Guatemala City, then you'll need to get ready for a fast-paced adventure through the best of Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. From oceans teeming with marine life to cloud forests alive with jungle melodies, this pocket of Central America is something of a natural paradise. Whether you're shopping in colonial Antigua, exploring the intricately carved Copan ruins, diving into the crystal blue waters of Honduras' Roatan Islands or taking a night tour of Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna, you'll get a wonderful insight into Central America during this incredible adventure.

But the adventures don't stop there. From biodiversity to blues and booze in New Orleans, your next stop is the Big Easy. This tour starts and ends in the buzzing city of New Orleans, leave the wild times of Bourbon Street behind and venture into the history of the Civil Rights Movement in Birmingham. Explore the incredible and wild surrounds of the Great Smoky Mountains and then it's time to hit music central as you visit the birthplace of Blues, Rock & Roll and Jazz before learning to line dance in Nashville and Memphis. This tour will take you to the heart of southern USA and you won't be disappointed.

One final trip before you can collapse home - no adventure through the Americas would be complete without visiting the Big Apple, the City that Never Sleeps - New York. And it's just the start of this particular leg of the trip. From the Atlantic to the Pacific; from the cities to the wilderness including the Rockies, the Prairies and the Great Lakes. Canada is packed full of opportunities for hiking and biking and just generally having a wicked time. No two days are ever the same in a country as vast and as welcoming as Canada, so sit back and enjoy the ride on this almighty 25 day road trip.
