Vic Falls to Kruger
Look out for the Big Five plus a host of other astounding wild animals. Spend time in a traditional village in Botswana, explore ancient relics in Old Palapye and visit South Africa's modern capital - all the while uncovering Africa's incredible and diverse natural beauty on this awesome week-long adventure through the south of Africa.
Day 1-2 Victoria Falls
Kick-off this enthralling adventure in Zimbabwe's adrenaline capital. Marvel at the sight of white water thundering down Victoria Falls, and be coated in a fine mist of spray as it shoots hundreds of metres into the air. There are many ways to view the falls; choose between whitewater rafting, bungee jumping, abseiling and canyoning.
Day 3 Hwange National Park
Set out for a 4x4 game drive through the plains and wetlands of Zimbabwe's largest game reserve. Once the royal hunting grounds of Ndebele warrior-king Mzilikazi, the park is now home to approximately 400 bird and 100 mammal species.
Day 4-5 Matobos National Park/Bulawayo
Explore the country's second largest city before heading out on one of the many optional activities to perhaps track black and white rhinos in Matobos National Park.
Day 6 Palapye
Not too far from Moremi Gorge and the Khama Rhino Sanctuary, the township of Palalpye is home to some incredible ancient ruins. Time permitting, venture out on a walk through Old Palapye and discover artefacts from as early as the Middle Stone Age. Meander past old stone walls, faded rock paintings, the weary relics of the old prison and historic gravestones.
Day 7 Blouberg
Head towards Blouberg and camp in South Africa's Limpopo Province, an area that offers a unique and exciting cultural experience. Pursue paths along the base of the Blouberg Mountains and hear stories of the fascinating local community, who still lead a very traditional lifestyle. Later, enjoy authentic local meals such as Thopi and Malana at a village tavern.
Day 8-9 Kruger National Park
Travel through the expansive savanna and rolling hills of the spectacular Kruger National Park, keeping an eye out for the unusual white rhinos, giraffes, zebras, lions and elands. Choose to go on an optional night game drive to see nocturnal predators spring into action, or even set off on an optional early morning nature walk with a guide.
Day 10 Johannesburg
Take in stunning panoramas from the viewpoint over the incredible Blyde River Canyon. On arrival in Johannesburg, perhaps set out for some last-minute souvenir shopping or just rest those well-travelled feet at a local bar or cafe.
