Volunteer Activities:

English classes are provided to a wide range of age groups and competency levels. You will facilitate English programs at a nursery school for 2- 6 year olds and present English lessons after school for secondary school students with interactive and creative lessons. You will also be involved in facilitating English lessons to the general community from beginner to more advanced levels. We also teach English in the students of a local tourism training college.

There are 15 residents in this home of which most do not have family to care for them. Your work here will mostly be on a social interaction basis on Fridays playing board games and doing crafts with the elderly, which is both fun and rewarding and adds something special to their day. You may also be needed to assist in meal preparation, doing laundry and maintenance.

Volunteering with children abroad is extremely rewarding. Your help will be required in facilitating weekly activities with children with special needs focusing on coordination, development, social skills, motor skills and behavior through ball games, music, dance, colouring and drawing etc.

Your assistance in the implementation of the after school HIV Program and HIV education for teenagers could save a life.

You will also play a role in working with students on basic business ideas and marketing elements such as advertising, logos and customer service.
