Moscow and St Petersburg City Break Itinerary
Day 1 Fly UK to Moscow
On arrival in Russia’s capital transfer to the central 4* Budapest Hotel. Relax or begin your adventure with independent exploration. (D)
Day 2 Moscow
Find your feet with a panoramic city tour accompanied by an experienced English speaking guide. In the afternoon visit the State Tretyakov Gallery where you can appreciate an array of priceless Russian art. (B, D)
Day 3 Moscow
Today you tour the mighty Moscow Kremlin grounds, a true political landmark. Included is a visit to the Armoury where you can find the largest collection of Fabergé eggs in the world! (B, D)
Day 4 Moscow
Explore Moscow’s famous Metro System, where stations were built to display the beauty of Russia and to evoke pride in native Muscovites. Visit the colourful Arbat district where you can enjoy performers, market stalls and various eateries before travelling to St Petersburg on the day train, 1st class. Transfer to the central 4* Ambassador Hotel on arrival. (B, D)
Day 5 St Petersburg
Get your bearings on a morning city tour and uncover the best of Russia’s former capital. Explore onward to the Peter and Paul Fortress and uncover its intriguing history. (B, D)
Day 6 St Petersburg
Stand back and surround yourself with one of the world’s largest art collections – visit The State Hermitage Museum and view masterpieces from all time greats including Da Vinci, Monet and Michelangelo. (B, D)
Day 7 St Petersburg
Take an out of town excursion to the picturesque village of Pushkin to admire the golden domes of Catherine’s Palace and uncover its sparkling history and unique architecture. (B, D)
Day 8 Fly St Petersburg to UK
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the airport for your flight home as you wave goodbye to Russia, until next time! (B)

Centrally located and within walking distance of the Bolshoi Theatre the 4* Budapest hotel provides an ideal stay for sightseeing enthusiasts.
