What you need to take part
To enrol on the four week course, no teaching experience is required. If you want to stay on and teach, to gain a job, you must be a native English speaking graduate. Having searched long and hard for the perfect course, this TEFL is endorsed by the Thai Ministry of Education and offers 120 hours of training (over 25 hours of teaching practise), which exceeds expected standards. How does it work?
Once you have successfully completed your three week TEFL in Phuket, you can choose to find a job in Thailand, with the support of Tom, the course leader. Minimum contracts are for 4-5 months, but can be extended once you are there. With a TEFL that can be used around the world, an opportunity to spend time in a jaw-dropping country and experience working with children from a completely difference culture, it is the perfect way to spend you gap year abroad!
