Summary

Stars & Stripes Tour

After experiencing the best of the west, you'll jet east for three unforgettable nights in the city that never sleeps. Just imagine rollerblading along Venice Beach in L.A., slurping on chowder at San Fran’s Fisherman’s Wharf, throwing it “all on black” in Vegas and Statue of Liberty spotting in New York. It’s basically a tour of the U.S Hall of Fame.

Day 1: Los Angeles, CA

Today: sightseeing 101 as we pound the pavement on our guided tour along LA's most famous streets and visit the beaches at Venice and Santa Monica you've seen in hundreds of movies. Hungry? Dinner's on us tonight.

Included today:
-Los Angeles guided tour - Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Beverly Hills.

Day 2: Los Angeles

BYO is awesome, but today is all about PYO (pick your own). Say #YOLO and add an optional excursion to your LA bucket list - Universal Studios, Disneyland or celeb abode spotting, perhaps? Or you could just head back to the beach.

Included today:

-Free day

Day 3: Los Angeles to Las Vegas, NV

Pack your satchel and assemble the wolf pack: next stop Vegas. Postcards home write of buffets, blackjack and the Bellagio, but few mention the ridiculous antics you can only get up to in sin city. Paying to get into a fancy(er) pool, 5am burgers in your hotel and waiting in line for an hour to try Gordon Ramsay's Burgr to name a few. Speaking of which, sink your teeth into a good one and then hit the strip aboard our party bus.

Included today:
-Pass through San Bernadino valley and the Mojave Desert to Vegas
-Las Vegas Party Bus

Day 4: Las Vegas

G-rated Vegas sounds like an oxymoron, but there's plenty of family-friendly options from indoor skydiving and roller coasters to Britney, live. Today, Vegas is your oyster, and there's a good chance it will be battered and deep fried.

Included today:
-Free day

Day 5: Las Vegas (Day Trip to Grand Canyon)

Have a break from the strip with some fresh air and open spaces. And by open, we mean grand. And by spaces, we mean canyon. The OMG view around the canyon rim or from the (optional) chopper is well worth the journey along Route 66. Or just relish in a food coma from Big Mama's Rib Shack. You'll drool over both.

Included today:
-Day trip to Grand Canyon;

Day 6: Las Vegas to Mariposa/Yosemite National Park, CA

ost track of time last night? There's plenty of opportunity to catch up on some Zzzs as we take the (pretty freakin' spectacular) drive today to the gateway to Yosemite National Park. Travel is a great way to shed the old you, so it's fitting that our destination - Mariposa - is Spanish for butterfly. We'd call it a hidden gem but nugget seems more appropriate, as a once-thriving gold mining town.

Included today:
-Drive day

Day 7: Yosemite to San Francisco

Yosemite is like watching a nature documentary. In high def. With 3D glasses. And an epic surround sound system. Hike or bike around Yosemite Falls and Mirror Lake, or watch for black bears, bobcats and deer(s).

*Please note: for those departing LA on 05 July 2016, on this night you will be sleeping in Napa Valley and not San Francisco as stated above. All other activities on this day will be the same as advertised.

Included today:
-Yosemite National Park half day trip
-3 day MUNI pass

Day 8: San Francisco

Famous for cable cars, THAT bridge and inventing the fortune cookie, this morning it's all about San Fran's best assets (everything) from Golden Gate Park to Fisherman's Wharf. Start with our guided tour then have a one-day affair with the free-loving city. Act one: Ogle the Painted Ladies and Cal Academy of Sciences. Act two: Have a stairmaster workout up Lombard Street. Act three: Finish with a tea tasting in the largest Chinatown outside Asia.

*Please note: for those departing LA on 05 July 2016, on this night you will be sleeping in Napa Valley and not San Francisco as stated above. All other activities on this day will be the same as advertised.

Included today:
-Free day
-San Francisco guided tour

Day 9: San Francisco

Fortune cookies, Tom Hanks and Mrs. Doubtfire. San Fran's claims to fame are as long as its list of 'things to do'. Jump on a cable car to see the sights/avoid the crazy steep hills. Use your public transport pass to back the Giants in a ball game, trawl the museums or skateboard through Dolores Park. Or if you want to escape to Alcatraz, feel free (geddit). Just be sure to book in advance as people are pulling all sorts of cons to get in there (sorry). Tonight, we romance you with a catamaran cruise in San Francisco Bay.

Day 11: New York City

What lies beneath the Hudson? Oh, just a 350-foot steamship, 1600 bars of silver and cement-eating worms. Luckily, you'll be catching the sights ABOVE the water on our morning harbour cruise - like the Statue of Liberty. Hit up Lower Manhattan with a local guide as your GPS and check out the One World Tower - the tallest tower in the Western Hemisphere.

Included today:
-7 day NYC metro pass
-NYC harbour cruise
-NYC walking tour
-One World Observatory entry

Day 12: New York City

Wake up and smell the cawfee. And bagels. And pretzels. Oh New York. With 24 hours to kill in the concrete jungle dreams are made of, life couldn't possibly get any better. Walk in Carrie Bradshaw's footsteps on a Sex and the City tour, watch some baseball (seasonal), or get the view-from-tv of the city from a helicopter. #bestdayever

Included today:
-Free day

Day 13: New York City

Down that last cup of cawfee and sadly mop up the last morsels of your bagel, for this morning we make like a tree and leave. Or stick around. You've got a good 3 days on your metro pass, go hard.
