Itinerary

Friday 25th August: Barcelona
Check in to your central Barcelona hostel and meet the Stokies. Explore the city, hit the beach, drink sangria and explore the nightlife with the free club entry we have set you up with!

Saturday 26th August: Barcelona
Recover from the night before with a hearty hostel breakfast, before discovering Barcelona on foot with a walking tour. Eat. Drink. Love life. That afternoon set sail on one of Stoke’s flagship boat parties. The unlimited drinks on board will properly prepare you for another party night.

Sunday 27th August: Barcelona
Why stop now? Spend the day seeing the sights not included on your walking tour. Visit some of our favourite bars. Sit on terraces in the sun drinking world-class Spanish wines. Come and party again, we’ve got the hook-ups so you’d be crazy not to.

Monday 28th August: Barcelona

Spend your last day in Barcelona visiting some of our favourite bars before heading up to the Bunkers with your Stokie best friends to watch the sunset with uninterrupted 360˚ views of the greater Barcelona area, from the Mediterranean to the Pyrenees.

Tuesday 29th August: Valencia

Say goodbye to your Barcelona home and jump on Stoke’s bus, destination: Valencia. We’ll arrive at the La Tomatina campsite in the evening, just in time for a swim and a massive campsite BBQ and paella with a few hundred new best friends.  Alternatively head into a nearby village for a massive water and wine fight!

Wednesday 30th August: La Tomatina

An early start is made easier with complimentary Bloody Marys and a hot breakfast before boarding the bus for the tomato fight.  Enter into the Tomato fight with the rest of the Stokies and raise hell, throw tomatoes at strangers, have strangers throw tomatoes at you, maybe make out with said strangers.  Ride the bus back to camp and chill on the beach/have a siesta – we are in Spain after all. Take advantage of the open bar some more and smash the dinner that’s whipped up by our on-site chefs, before heading into the official La Tomatina after/pool party.

Thursday 31st August: Ibiza

This is the day we set sail across the Med to Europe’s party island. Say goodbye to your Stokie friends who weren’t smart enough to book the whole tour and jump on the ferry from Valencia to Ibiza.

When we arrive in Ibiza we’ll take you to the perfect cove that houses our permanent camp, crawl into bed for a siesta, swim at the beach, chill out in the shade. That night go to whichever club tickles your fancy – the Stoke Travel Ibiza crew know all the best nights and can help you get discounted tickets.

Saturday 2nd September: Ibiza
The next few days will be filled with snorkelling, cliff jumping, beach games, visits to the hippie markets, sight seeing, swimming, people watching, and, of course, partying.

Sunday 3rd September: Ibiza

Beach, sleep, rave, repeat… maybe a Sunday session? And by “maybe” we mean “definitely”.

Monday 4th September: Ibiza
Now’s the time to return to real life, or your next stop, with all the memories and photographic proof of things you won’t remember, new additions to your “friends for life” list, the need for sleep, or a desire to keep on partying. If you want, you can choose to stay on longer in Ibiza, or maybe it’s time for a San Sebastian Surf Camp. Of course, if you want to head to Barcelona again we can totally organise that…

FAQ's

Where in Barcelona is the the hostel?
It’s in central Barcelona right on the beach, in an area called Poblenou just a few minutes walk from one of the nicer of the city beaches.

What else should I bring?
Nice clothes for those clubs, sunglasses and sunscreen as it gets pretty hot, a pillow and torch for your tent, goggles, condoms, a waterproof camera, swimmers to have a dip in the pool afterwards, old shoes that can be thrown out after the madness, and shampoo if you don’t want your hair stained red for the next month. Oh and don’t forget a towel.

Are the shuttles to and from Tomatina included in the price?
The shuttles to and from La Tomatina tomato fight are included. We also throw in some boxes of red wine to get you started.

What is the breakfast like?
Breakfast is bacony and eggy and delicious. Sometimes there’a pancake or two thrown in for good measure. Our chefs are pretty fricking good at food and can cater for dietary requirements.

It said on the website that it is a twin tent. Can it fit two people?
Yes, the twin tents are two-man tents. We have two-man tents, so if you are in a group of three, one of you will be tented with a new friend of the same sex. Tents are allocated on arrival, so just let us know your preferences when you arrive. We also have an option to have a private tent for a small additional fee – just in case you don’t want to share…. or if you want to leave space for the hottie you’re going to meet at our campsite… You never know…

And what amenities are offered at the tomatina camp site?
The campsite is awesome! It has a giant pool, a playground, a cafe/restaurant, a little shop, hot showers, laundry area, parking, drinkable water, and it’s a five-minute walk from the beach.

Are there lockers where we can put our passports or other important items?
The campsite itself has no lockers, but we a campervan which gets locked every night and we can put small valuables in there during the festival and when we’re away from the campsite.

What’s the Ibiza campsite like?
Our campsite is a slice of heaven by the sea with loads of activities, loads of time to chill out and sip our drinks and ample moonlight beach dancing opportunities. We set up your tent for you with air mattress and sleeping bag. In Ibiza we have daily yoga sessions, snorkelling equipment, cliffs perfect for jumping off nearby and visits to hippie markets.

Is alcohol cheap?
As mentioned above, there’s an open bar from 11am to 11pm. That helps cut costs of boozing up, so your purse won’t be stretched too far to get a good booze buzz going. Beware, spirits and beers in da clubs are more expensive than a high end prostitute on a Saturday night, so make the most of pre-drinking and you shall be thrifty little party animals.

What clubs will we go to?
You can go wherever you want young, wild child. The campsite has live music most nights and we will judge the best club for that night, it may be Pacha, Space or other world class party venues. We usually manage to get great Ibiza club discounts for your entry depending on the night, time to letcha hair out and get weird.
