Hogmanay is Scottish for the last day of the year, and we’re here to celebrate, on Stoke’s 24/hr private party train from London to Edinburgh for the World’s Largest Street Party!

Hogmanay Party Train

Join us on our very own private Stoke Travel train where we will be partying nonstop on our 24/hr round trip from London to Edinburgh for New Years Eve at Hogmanay. At the world's largest street party, revel in live music and DJs at the four street party stages and 8 large screens that line the streets of the city. Welcome 2018 with firework displays going off every hour from 9pm until midnight, when you'll cheers the new year singing Auld Lang Syne against the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle. After the big New Year Countdown we have arranged free access to the official Stoke Travel after party! Party all night and then jump back on the Stoke Travel Express to head back to London.

 

December 31: London to Edinburgh


8am: Meet your Stoke Travel Guides at our London Venue: Lost Rivers Elephant to check in and scope out your fellow party goers, preparing for the all important New Year’s kiss. You’ll receive a hearty breakfast to line your stomach ready for the upcoming festivities.


9am: Check in closes and Stoke guides will lead you to Kings Cross where the Stoke Travel Express awaits! Enjoy BYO drinks our private party train from London to Edinburgh, we’ll even throw in your first bottle of Prosecco to well and truly get the party started.


3.30pm: Arrive in Edinburgh and head to our exclusive venue, where the drinks and pre-festivals snacks await, continue the party here or head up the Royal Mile and explore the city! Must do’s include; Edinburgh Castle, checking out Winter Wonderland and it’s Christmas Markets and carnival rides.


7pm: The world’s biggest street party begins! Revel in live music and DJs at the four street party stages and 8 large screens that line the city.


9pm: The first set of fireworks display. Set against the backdrop of the iconic Edinburgh Castle these magnificent displays go off every hour until midnight.


10pm: Security will stop letting people into the street party. Make sure you’ve made your way into the festivities to ensure you don't miss out!

 


January 1: Edinburgh to London


12am: Join in the crowd singing Auld Lang Syne as the final midnight fireworks display welcomes in 2018. After the big NYE countdown carry on partying with free entry to Stoke Travel’s official after party!

 

3.30am: Leave the after party venue and carry on ringing in the New Year for the US, Canada, Central and South America back aboard Stoke Travel Express.

 

9am: Arrive back in London, farewell the Stoke Express, new found friends and the mayhem that was Hogmanay!

FAQs

What do I wear?
Something warm! It will be cold partying in the streets of Edinburgh in the middle of winter.

Where do I sleep?
There is no accommodation included in our package, it’s NYE!! We’re planning on partying on through! You will need to be on the train leaving back to London by 3.30am so for those of you who need your sleep, you can nap then.

Can we bring alcoholic drinks on the train?
YES! As part of the package you will get a bottle of bubbles to drink on the train, but you are also welcome to bring your own drinks aboard.

What should I pack?
As you won’t be sleeping on this trip you don’t need to bring a change of clothes or any kind of toiletries. But, Scotland in winter is freezing, it’s a good idea to bring extra layers as it can get cold.


Do we need our passports?
No not when travelling to Scotland as it is part of the United Kingdom.
