Cambridge, Manchester, Oxford and London will be the venues for a series of high-energy, big-giveaway roadshows in early February, and each is going to be packed full of advice and information on gap years and travelling.
Announcing the events, Tim Fenton, general manager at gapyear.com, said: "2012 is going to be a big year for gap years, maybe one of the biggest yet. Every day we come across exciting, creative, inspiring and worthwhile ways to experience the world.
"Live events are a great way to share the enthusiasm and the roadshows are a real chance to learn about backpacking, volunteering and working abroad from our team of experts. After all, there’s a world of opportunity out there."
The roadshows are free and there will be a number of prizes up for grabs, including a grand prize of a free Qantas flight to Australia and a visit to the Gold Coast.
In a fast-moving 60-minute show, gapyear.com experts will give the low-down on gap years, volunteering, working abroad, short gap years, managing your money and buying the best value flights.
As well as the gapyear.com team, there'll be consultants from Round The World Experts and representatives of Australia's beautiful Gold Coast.
And if that’s not enough to lure you in, there’s even a free drink for everyone who attends.
The roadshows are on university campuses but are open to anyone. Shows start at 6pm.
So, what are you hoping to see at the roadshow? Which one are you coming to? And do you want to see the gapyear.com roadshow come to your town?
We look forward to seeing you there!
