Arrive in the nation's capital an explore the best of this historic city with an included bike tour, then take advantage of the great nightlife in picturesque Georgetown.
It's time to be awestruck as you drive towards Shenandoah National Park today. The drive is beautiful and you’ll soon understand why this place is a popular thoroughfare for travellers and locals alike. Depending on the pace of the day there may be time for a walk en route or once you reach the campsite.
It's time for some excitement as you enter the vibrant and eclectic Deep South. Tennessee is the home of country music so make sure your vocals are at the ready because you'll be singing along in no time. Want more action? For pure adrenaline don a lifejacket, grip a paddle and bounce along a churning stretch of white water down the Ocoee River, which was the actual course used during the Centennial Olympic Games in 1996.
From honky-tonk bars to The Grand Ole Opry, they don't call Nashville the 'centre of the music world' for nothing! Find out all about the history of music at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, home to the largest collection of country music in the world. This place is full of life and you'll be hotfooting your way from one bar to the next checking out the live music.
Located on the Mississippi River, Memphis has a long and colourful past. Why not visit Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley? Elvis had a huge influence on country, blues and rock ‘n’ roll music, and his former home is the second-most visited private home in the USA after the White House. Visit Sun Studio, where famous blues and rock 'n' roll tracks have been laid down since 1950, a place many a great name has passed through. There's more to Memphis than just music, and you can pay a visit to the National Civil Rights Museum located in the former Lorraine Hotel to see the place where Martin Luther King was assassinated. In the evening, head over to legendary Beale Street which really comes alive with neon-lit signs, live street performers and blues music playing at every turn.
You've arrived in the legendary 'Big Easy'. Enjoy an included airboat ride through the Louisiana swamps in search of gators! Back in the city, why not take a slow steamboat ride along the Mississippi River, Huckleberry Finn style?
