DAY 1 | BUDAPEST
Our adventure begins in the Hungarian capital. We
head out to explore some of the highlights before
indulging in some hearty Hungarian cuisine. Tonight
the world-renowned ruin bars are our destination. (D)
DAY 2 | BUDAPEST – EGER – DEBRECEN
Heading out of the capital we visit the Baroque town of
Eger and make a stop at the unique Nine-Holed Bridge.
Tonight we explore Debrecen. (B)
DAY 3 | DEBRECEN – CLUJ
Time to enter Romania. Explore Cluj and its gothic
architecture, medieval towers and chilled cafe culture. (B)
DAY 4 | CLUJ – SALINA TURDA – SIGHISOARA – BRASOV
Travelling deeper into Romania towards Brasov we visit
two top sights, the amazing Salina Turda Salt Mine and
enchanting Sighisoara. (B)
DAY 5 | BRASOV
You have an entire day to explore the ornate churches,
townhouses and squares. Take a cable car up to
Mt. Tampa for a view over the city. Tonight head out to
explore Brasov’s funky bars and restaurants. (B)
DAY 6 | BRASOV – BUCHAREST
Heading to Romania’s capital city we visit both the
world famous Bran Castle, better known as Dracula’s
Castle, and the imposing Rasnov Citadel. Tonight we
indulge in a traditional Romanian feast. (B, D)
DAY 7 | BUCHAREST
A day to lose ourselves in the rich historical and cultural
depths of the ‘Paris of the East’. (B)
