Volunteer and enjoy a real hands-on experience as you help to rehabilitate over 400 rescued animals at this beautiful sanctuary located in the heart of the Thai rainforest.

An inspiring project
The animals arriving at the sanctuary have been mistreated, wounded or orphaned.  You will be part of an extensive rehabilitation programme providing a new home to keep them safe and stimulated.  It’s a huge task caring for over 400 animals but they genuinely need your help.

Your role
There’s always plenty to do at the sanctuary and a great group of fellow volunteers to work alongside.

A key role is to help prepare the food and feed it to the animals.  You’ll quickly get to know their different habits and personalities as you watch them eat. Other jobs include cleaning the enclosures, monitoring the animals’ behaviour, walking with the elephants, enrichment work and helping with educational projects.  Be prepared to be flexible and to get your hands dirty occasionally!

Accommodation
You’ll live in on-site accommodation and enjoy 3 delicious meals a day.  The sanctuary is based on the doorstep of Thailand’s largest National Park allowing you to explore some stunning places during your time off.

Support
Our staff will get you fully prepared beforehand and will be able to advise and help throughout. Once in Thailand you will be well looked after by the sanctuary staff, who will meet you at the airport and get you settled in.
