Volunteer in Goa to give back to a community in need! This volunteer program begins with a one-week orientation including language, cultural and cooking classes as well as trips to historical sites. Volunteer work will consists of one definite project, which is working with the children of the slums to improve their lives. The second project will be assigned to volunteers based on preference and availability/ current needs of the project. The work days will be split between a morning and afternoon shift; one shift will be at the mandatory project and the second shift will be at the chosen project.
Second project options include working in a kindergarten, women’s shelter, for animal welfare or for elders’ care. Please note that the kindergarten project is only available from June to March, and during the months of April and May, the children will be in summer camps.
