Spending your school holidays volunteering abroad is a great way to see the world, and develop your CV/resume for college, university, or in your search for a job.
This project in Swaziland, specifically designed for 16 and 17-year-olds, is one of our most popular, working in the heart of communities in the Ezulwini Valley. This initiative works with seven pre-schools run by community leaders for children who are orphans or from very low-income families and need support.
The project is always looking for enthusiastic and vibrant young people to help develop the centres which work in three areas: sports, building and gardening, and education.
During your downtime, you can head to the shopping centre, relax by the pool, and spend your evenings with other volunteers watching films, and playing games in the volunteer house. A little further afield, volunteers love to hike the nearby hills (where you can take some amazing photos), visit the national sports stadium, and wander around the national museum.
